Described as representing a daring new vision for sports cruising by mix the values of a cruiser and a bowrider in one compelling pack, Sea Ray’s new Sundancer 320 made its world debut at the Miami International Boat Show.
“The Sundancer 320 will reinvent the cruising market,” said Brad Anderson, Sea Ray president. “It’s a reimagining of the sports cruiser, offering more usable outdoor space than ever while maintaining the iconic good looks, impressive performance and overnighting capabilities that our customers have always looked to the Sundancer series to provide.”
The Sundancer 320 emphasize a front sun pad with an unusual bow umbrella, which spread over the area to offer shelter from the sun while at rest. The cockpit is sketched with a regular flow from the helm through the transom and onto the combined swim terrace. A reversible helm guide seat converts to face aft, promote communication with the rest of the cockpit, while a conventional wet bar includes a sink and storage, and offers a cooler and barbecue as options.
The boat’s cabin gives rest accommodations for four. In the aft deck, two sliding twin beds can be connected to form a queen bed while in the forward V-berth, a wood table converts via filler pad to create a full-sized bed. A luxurious head, gourmet-ready galley with enlarging countertops, flat screen TV and storage round out space.
The Sundancer 320 offers the best of both worlds — day boating and cabin cruising — by developing the strengths of both rather than compromising wherever. The boat shows the incredible balance of design and purpose.
