It’s a new three-room apartment with an en-suite shower, double bed and personal butler that Etihad just launched. The Residence is the name of the A380 upper deck luxurious flying hotel. This suite has a trio of compartments that includes a living room space, bedroom and en-suite bathroom, completed with shower.
A personal “Jeeves”, with a Savoy Butler Academy of London’s training in the curriculum, dedicates himself on guests’ catering. But that personal butler service also has a concierge team that cares about passengers’ travel experience, taking comfort to the next level.
Etihad really wants to make the difference, adding the airline’s First Apartment class to private suites with reclining armchairs and full-length beds and chilled minibar, while personal vanity unit and wardrobe finish these feature’s list in great style. This luxury is also available their B787 aircraft, pitched as First Suites.
The competitors are now on the corner, with Qatar Airways expecting to launch later this month a new all-business class flight from Doha to London that will take 40 passengers on a single-aisle A319.
If you were a Etihad’s passenger, which perks would you demand or suggest? Will this service fly high?
