In recent years, the Bvlgari group has brought a completely different dimension to the concept of ultra-thin and luxury watches and continued its tradition of breaking records at the Baselworld 2018 fair.
Baselworld, which excites the watch enthusiasts with the novelties introduced year after year is home to a new record held by the famous Italian brand Bulgari. The brand’s new model, Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Tourbillon, owns a new world record with a total thickness of 3.95mm.
The brand, which broke the record for the fourth time and won awards at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève competition last year, released a new record-breaking timepiece at the Baselworld 2018.

The brand’s new female novelty, the Diva Finissima Minute Repeater, is the world’s thinnest minute repeater, whilst the new men’s novelty, Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Automatic, the world’s slimmest self-winding watch coming in at a tiny 3.95mm.

The model’s skeleton dial lets the user enjoy the magnificent movement to the finest detail. Obviously, it is not easy to read the time by looking at the dial that has an hour and a minute hand only, but we do not think anyone will worry about it.
